Brompton Oratory Wedding Photography
On the 11th of July Robert & Mary celebrated a wonderful wedding at the Brompton Oratory in London. A really beautiful service on one of the nicest days of the year. I witnessed a lot of hugging and kissing for the newlyweds as they and their guests exited the magnificent building. I really was in my element as a documentary wedding photographer with so much happening.
I heard passers by congratulating the couple as we walked through the busy streets of London to their beautifully decorated wedding reception venue - Ognisko Resturant.
Everybody enjoyed drinks and canapes, including Polish Pimms & Mary's kiss. The father of the bride gave a really emotional speech before all the guests headed upstairs for the wedding breakfast. The venue looked stunning, and the newlyweds Mary & Robert were very relaxed and a pleasure to work for.
The first dance was really quite sweet and tender, the images really depict that.
I hope you enjoy this small selection of photographs from their big day.

Great British Barn Wedding - Kathryn & Paul
I do love a great British Barn Wedding, so I was delighted when Kathryn & Paul got in-touch with me to document their big day. I rocked up at the house for bridal prep shots, energies where high. A beautiful harp rendition of Seal's "Kiss from a Rose" played as the bride walked down the aisle to meet her Groom Paul. Two beautiful readings were read during the ceremony, one of which, I'm not ashamed to admit almost made me well up bit. After all us photographers are humans too!
Surrounded by horses and crows circling a derelict old barn nearby, the newly weds and their guests made there way to the lawns to celebrate becoming husband and wife.
I wish both Kathryn & Paul all the very best for the future. Their big day was awesome. Here are some of my favourite images from the day....
Combe Manor Wedding Photography
The 2nd May 2015 A big day for us British folk as we welcomed a beautiful new princess to the world "Charlotte Elizabeth Diana". However, a celebration of a different kind was on Alexandra & William's mind as they married at the rather spectacular Douai Abbey. The newly weds and ample guests then made their way to the wonderful and rather secluded wedding venue Combe Manor in Hungerford for some serious celebrations.
Guests sipped on Champagne and tucked into some seriously yummy canapes, before the wedding party settled down for the speeches. A 1920's style jazz band played gently in the background, before inviting Alexandra & William over for their first dance. One of my favourite songs "Billy Holiday - The very thought of you".
Guests congregated on the lawns, to watch a spectacular firework display. It was a real pleasure to be a part of their day, I wish the happy couple all the very best for the future.
If you are looking for a Combe Manor Wedding photographer? Please do not hesitate to get in-touch to discuss your photography requirements. As always, here are a few of my most faveourite photos from the day.
Why I love this image "Share"
I really couldn't have asked for a better setup than this. I love everything about this picture, the painting of the child girl in the background and the brother and sister sharing a cola. I had to be very quick with this capture (camera ready to shoot) if i'd have taken more than a second they would have been "photographer aware" and this beautiful moment would have been lost.
It is my job of a documentary wedding photographer to be ready to capture these really special moments.
