Beautiful Summer Garden Wedding (with a bit of rain)
As Winter sets in and the temperature drops a few degrees, I thought I'd share with you the beautiful summer garden wedding of Asha & Tom. You would think that planning an outdoor wedding in August in the UK you'd be (fairly) safe from the rain and drizzle and the wedding of your dreams would go to plan without a hitch. However, just moments before the ceremony was due to start and Asha the bride was due to walk down the aisle in her grandparents back garden the heavens decided to open. Needless to say, just 10 minutes after the rain we had sunshine and a really beautiful ceremony went ahead. I really didn't mind getting wet at all, it's my job as a documentary wedding photographer to tell a story by any means, actually all those umbrellas made for a great photo.
The wedding ceremony was conducted by the groom's brother in Asha's grandparents gardens, with the meal & speeches being held in a stunning open sided marquee.
The party in the evening was pretty special, I just loved the energy (see video start). I think its best I show you some of my most favourite moments from their day. Enjoy, Lee

Combe Manor Wedding Photography
The 2nd May 2015 A big day for us British folk as we welcomed a beautiful new princess to the world "Charlotte Elizabeth Diana". However, a celebration of a different kind was on Alexandra & William's mind as they married at the rather spectacular Douai Abbey. The newly weds and ample guests then made their way to the wonderful and rather secluded wedding venue Combe Manor in Hungerford for some serious celebrations.
Guests sipped on Champagne and tucked into some seriously yummy canapes, before the wedding party settled down for the speeches. A 1920's style jazz band played gently in the background, before inviting Alexandra & William over for their first dance. One of my favourite songs "Billy Holiday - The very thought of you".
Guests congregated on the lawns, to watch a spectacular firework display. It was a real pleasure to be a part of their day, I wish the happy couple all the very best for the future.

Father & daughter share a moment
A special moment between father and daughter...
A rather beautiful father & daughter moment from a recent wedding. The expressions on each of their faces portray so much affection, fondness and love for one another. His relaxed posture indicates his contentment and a sense of deep pride for his newly married daughter on her special day.
Tracey & Sean - Wedding in Berkshire
A Late summer British wedding! Congratulations to Tracey & Sean...
Tracey & Sean's late summer wedding in Berkshire
I can't believe its been over a year since Tracey & Sean approached me to be their Berkshire wedding photographer.
My day started with the bride at her home in Basingstoke. I then made my way to St Mary's church, Aldermaston a small, intimate church just a stones throw from the reception.
With the church being so small, photography was only allowed from the back of the church during the ceremony. As a photographer this is often the case,
At The Old Mill Aldermaston the newly weds and guests mingled, whilst drinking bubbly by the river in the beautiful grounds . Luckily the rain held off to which i'm sure was welcomed by all.

As always here is a selection of my favourites stills from the day.
