Winter Wedding at the Stunning Fairyhill - Wales
Bethan & Ross are two of the nicest folks you could ever hope to meet and I was delighted to end my busy year documenting their wedding at Fairyhill in Wales just before Christmas. The couple really embraced my “hands off” approach to storytelling and it really shows here in the images. Their wedding had everything I love as a documentary photographer - gorgeous light - lots of emotion - great humour and great dancing. The light in December is at times beautifully harsh, creating some gorgeous high contrast images with lovely tones. This was certainly one of them days.
South Wales Wedding Photographer
It’s not often that I shoot in South Wales (I really should change that as I live here now), most of my work is actually in London and the South East, so it really was rather pleasant to be driving Westbound on the M4 for a change. Both Beth & Ross got ready on site at Fairyhill before heading off to a local church to get married. After a gorgeous ceremony and hundreds of hugs & kisses everyone made their way back to the venue to celebrate. This wedding was just really delightful and I feel absolutely privileged to have played a part in creating this photographic record. Here is a handful of my most favourite moments from their day.
