Farnham Castle Wedding - Jessica & Lewis

Jessica & Lewis, your wedding was so lovely - Thank you for choosing me to tell your story.

I began the day with the Bridal party documenting the fun, excitement and emotions unfolding. I then took a 5 minute stroll to meet Lewis at a local pub, orders from his wife to be were to simply "Drink champagne!" which I'm sure Lewis and his guests had absolutely no qualms about at all!

Some surprises for me on the day which made this wedding pretty awesome:

The groom was in the wedding band (and played incredibly well!)

In true gentleman style the groom carried his new wife to shelter from the rain

Lots of hugging, kissing and happiness.

Shots on the dance floor (I can imagine things got pretty messy when I left)

All of these great moments are the reason I love documentary wedding photography, which leads me to say please enjoy and take a look at some of the gorgeous photographs from their day. Also, just to add I thought Jessica rocked the cowgirl boots and I just loved the dance with her father :) beautiful.

Play the slideshow loud in full screen, I hope you love it - If so, leave a comment I really appreciate that.

If you like what I do then I'd love to hear all about your wedding plans.

Farnham Castle wedding - Rebecca & Luke

A truly beautiful late summer wedding at Farnham Castle

I had the pleasure of returning to this magnificent Castle to photograph the wedding of Rebecca & Luke.

Two words for this wedding "Beautiful & Original"

Having spent the last six years down under in Australia, it was a joy to watch Rebecca & Luke reunite with friends and family to celebrate their wonderful wedding in the UK.

Obviously due to the logistics, it was impossible to meet up beforehand. As with the majority of my clients this is where skype comes in handy. I was familiar with the venue and was happy to return to be their Farnham Castle wedding photographer.

In a short space of time this creative couple certainly pulled it out the bag, including quirky favours and their very own personalised guestbook complete with a Fuji Instax camera for instant Polaroid fun.

With it being late September I was a expecting the possibility of rain, but luck was on their side. The happy couple and guests mingled and drank Pimms in the lawn area accompanied by an acoustic guitarist and glorious sunshine, what a beautiful day it was.

Below are a few of my favorite moments from the day, Enjoy.

Tracey & Sean - Wedding in Berkshire

A Late summer British wedding! Congratulations to Tracey & Sean...

Tracey & Sean's late summer wedding in Berkshire

Wedding photographer in Berkshire - Tracey & Sean

I can't believe its been over a year since Tracey & Sean approached me to be their Berkshire wedding photographer.

My day started with the bride at her home in Basingstoke. I then made my way to St Mary's church, Aldermaston a small, intimate church just a stones throw from the reception.

With the church being so small, photography was only allowed from the back of the church during the ceremony. As a photographer this is often the case,

At The Old Mill Aldermaston the newly weds and guests mingled, whilst drinking bubbly by the river in the beautiful grounds . Luckily the rain held off to which i'm sure was welcomed by all.

(If you are considering a wedding in Berkshire or any where else in the UK then please get in touch to discuss your photography requirements)

As always here is a selection of my favourites stills from the day.

Weddings at Holbrook House - Louise & Chris

A Holbrook House wedding, Louise & Chris where so lovely to work for.....

Louise & Chris's Wedding at Holbrook House in Somerset

This was my first time at this fantastic Somerset venue. I was truly in my element as a documentary wedding photographer, so much going on from piano recitals being played to the bride and groom to kids and adults alike, playing games and sports in the garden area. The level of detail in the decorations and wedding cake were astonishing, even more so when I found out the bride had made the favours and cake herself! I love the DIY approach - it gives a real personal feel to the day.

Perhaps the best thing about Lee is that he captures the moments you would have otherwise missed. We are delighted with the photos he took and would have absolutely no reservations about recommending him to anyone else looking for a wedding photographer.
Thank you Lee for capturing our day so beautifully!
