Kings Chapel Wedding Photography
A Valentine's day wedding at the gorgeous Kings Chapel in Old Amersham.
One of the first weddings of the 2017 season saw me travel to Amersham to document Clare & Rick's really beautiful Kings Chapel Wedding. The venue is really unique and was a joy to work at (I hope to visit again, very soon).
I love how the couple decorated the Chapel, the flowers and table settings looked great.
One of the highlights for me was when Clare and her bridesmaids rocked the dance-floor with a choreographed dance routine, loved how they all donned those shades... Nice touch!
Enjoy this video :)

Southwood Hall Wedding Photography - Naomi & Tom
A Gorgeous Winter Wedding at Southwood Hall
It's no secret that I have a thing for barn weddings, I just love the charming nature and rustic feel, especially in winter. Just after Christmas I had the absolute pleasure of traveling to Norwich to be Tom & Naomi's Southwood Hall wedding photographer. Tom & Naomi are friends of ours so it was a real privilege to be asked if I could document their story.
Loved the speeches...
I really enjoyed all of the humorous speeches at this wedding... You can actually hear parts of these by pressing play on the photofilm at the top of the page - *Bonus points for those who spot my wife eating a toasted marshmallow ;)
Breaking tradition a little, the couple replaced the wedding cake all together with a shot tower; great idea to get the party in full swing!
Officially just married! at Southwood Hall in Norfolk.
Documentary Wedding Photography - Authentic Storytelling
As always, I worked hard to ensure that I documented the day in a very relaxed, storytelling style without being bossy in any way. The couple totally subscribed to my style and ethos; from beginning to end it was a delight to tell their story...
This was the perfect end for 2016 - Really looking forward to what 2017 will bring.
Please feel free to share this post or share your thoughts by leaving a comment, I really appreciate it.
Are you planning a wedding at this or any other venue? I'd love to hear from you to discuss your photography requirements.
2016 - End of year review
What an incredible year, I've been witness to some really beautiful moments. A huge thank you to all who've entrusted me with your photography in 2016 - Here are over 100 images that make me smile.
Farnham Castle Wedding - Jessica & Lewis
Jessica & Lewis, your wedding was so lovely - Thank you for choosing me to tell your story.
I began the day with the Bridal party documenting the fun, excitement and emotions unfolding. I then took a 5 minute stroll to meet Lewis at a local pub, orders from his wife to be were to simply "Drink champagne!" which I'm sure Lewis and his guests had absolutely no qualms about at all!
Some surprises for me on the day which made this wedding pretty awesome:
The groom was in the wedding band (and played incredibly well!)
In true gentleman style the groom carried his new wife to shelter from the rain
Lots of hugging, kissing and happiness.
Shots on the dance floor (I can imagine things got pretty messy when I left)
All of these great moments are the reason I love documentary wedding photography, which leads me to say please enjoy and take a look at some of the gorgeous photographs from their day. Also, just to add I thought Jessica rocked the cowgirl boots and I just loved the dance with her father :) beautiful.
Play the slideshow loud in full screen, I hope you love it - If so, leave a comment I really appreciate that.
