Castle Wedding Photography - Louisa & Nick
I photographed the really lovely Castle Wedding of Louisa & Nick back in October. The venue "Farnham Castle" is, as always a real joy to visit and is probably my most frequented place to shoot at (I'm definitely not complaining).
I started the day at the gate house where Louisa was getting ready. Luckily for an October day we were blessed with beautiful weather, a sure sign of things to come.
After a really beautiful ceremony the happy couple were congratulated with open arms, handshakes & kisses. Strawberries & Champagne were sipped as guests mingled before being ushered in for the trademark sublime "Galloping Gourmet" wedding breakfast (These guys know how to cook).
The father of bride had prepared a lovely video slideshow presentation on the life of his daughter and I thought it was really nicely done.
You really should watch the wedding Photofilm video I have produced, as this includes audio from the day which has been very thoughtfully recorded & mixed together with the wedding photos.
Highbury Hall Wedding of Katie & Thomas
The lovely Highbury Hall wedding of Katie & Thomas.
I started my day with Thomas (aka white trainer boy) his groomsmen and his parents before heading off to meet Katie a short drive away. It really helps the storytelling when I am able to document both sets of the "pre wedding nerves" from both the Groom and the bride to be. This really adds to my candid style of wedding photography.

An English Garden Wedding
The 4th of July - as most American folks would have been celebrating independence day, a celebration of a different kind was on the agenda for Ian & Jill. A real English garden wedding. Who needs big elaborate wedding venues when you a have the most quaint and delightful church directly next door to your home, and a backyard being the most suitable setting for a big marquee.
While dressed in her stunning wedding dress, shortly before getting married, Jill had a surprise visit to a friend planned. Of course, I tagged along.
A talented musician had the entire church singing whilst the newly married couple signed the register, it was something beautiful to witness. Lots of hugging, kissing, and congratulating took place as the couple left the church. My documentary style of photography just so happened to be the perfect match for this wonderful day with so many characters and expressions (watch the creative video).
On to the speeches, the collective efforts of Jill, Ian and his two best men led guests to be rather emotional and also in fits of laughter. This just so happen to be one of the nicest days of the year with an awesome sunset.
As always here is a few of my Favourite images... Enjoy
