Dancing With Dad - An Image I Love

Well, what can I say about an image that speaks louder than any words can muster? Only that I am always so humbled and happy to witness the love, not only of the bride and groom but of family members too. Megan's dad here, looks like the worlds proudest man, and the bride looks so incredibly content and happy dancing with her father. Bridal Prep in a Field - An image I Love
It's been a little while since I've posted in my "an image I love" series - So, today I am pleased to share this lovely moment.
There are so many elements in this image that I just love, the light blue sky and fluffy clouds, the bold pink of that dress and the pointy tents. I suppose what really makes this image for is the father to the left pacing up and down while his daughter simultaneous gets her dress done up and makeup applied . I think this is a really unique photograph and is a nice change to be outside in the fresh air (the sun was rather hot too). I really look forward to sharing the rest. All the best, Lee :)

Gorgeous Garden Wedding - Kitty & Robert
Back in July, Kitty & Rob had me along to document their wedding. This was a wonderful day that was held in their (rather impressive) family garden.
Flower design was arranged by Kitty's mother and I must admit they looked absolutely stunning. Each table had a different potted flower, ranging from sweet peas and dahlias to peony's and roses this was a very creative and pretty seating plan.
The ceremony was held at the bottom of the garden, in a secret alcove among the trees. Family and friends gathered awaiting the ceremony to start. Moments before the brides arrival the heavens decided to open. Luckily for all, this only lasted for a minute and the ceremony could commence.
I really enjoyed telling Kitty & Rob's wedding story, not only the photography but recording sound as well.

Lainston House Wedding Photographer
A fun filled wedding at Lainston House, Winchester. (Mexican hats & Tequila at the ready!!)
Ladies & Gentlemen, I present to you Laura & Costa's big wonderful wedding story. I was over the moon when the happy couple hired me to be their Lainston House Wedding Photographer (and what a really great story it was to tell).
What I really like to capture at weddings is emotion; emotions, tenderness and lots of lots humour. This wedding had it by the bucket load. The best man's speech had me laughing inside, I have never seen the groom getting roasted so bad (in a good way of course).
What I thought was a rather nice touch was when a Mariachi band surprised guests as they relaxed on the lawn sipping drinks and mingling. This was probably the hottest day of the year to date which added to the Mexican theme.
You're all probably very eager to see just how much fun the day was, I recommend simply pressing play on the 4 minute video bellow (go full screen and volume up). A particular favourite moment of mine is when the best man gets a bit of a spank by grandma (you did read that right)... Don't blink or you may miss it.
