Wedding Photography at Woburn Abbey (Sculpture Gallery)

Dupe & Ty's Multicultural Wedding at the Sculpture gallery - Bedfordshire

This was my first multicultural wedding and the 4th wedding I had photographed in 10 days. It was a refreshing delight to see Dupe and Ty so happy, at the spectacular and grand Sculpture Gallery at Woburn Abbey.

I started the day with Dupe and her bridesmaids, the atmosphere was buzzing which lead to some lovely natural photos (I particularly liked the tearful moment when Dupe read a card from her husband-to-be).

I then met Ty (the groom) at the church "St Mary, Woburn". I love the nervous few moments before the bride arrives. The service was very heartfelt, with so much love expressed after the ceremony service, hugs and kisses from literally every guest! fantastic moments for me to capture (always puts a smile on my face).

After the service we then made our way to The Sculpture Gallery at Woburn Abbey. I've seen a lot of venues in my time, but WOW, what a place. The newlyweds certainly selected a stunning building to celebrate their marriage. And celebrate they most certainly did!

They had an amazing vocal group setting the mood for the drinks reception followed by some rather emotional and humorous speeches.

The band set up, the toastmaster announced the couple in, they danced and friends and family helped them celebrate in true style.

Dupe & Ty, thanks for having me along to document your big day. It was Superb!

Wasing Park Wedding Photography

Emma & Sarah's Wasing Park wedding (Garden Room)...

What an absolute honor it was to be Emma & Sarah's Wasing Park Wedding photographer. The venue is one of Berkshire's finest and it was a real pleasure to visit. A perfect setting for two lovely ladies to say their vows and celebrate in style.

Emma & Sarah's wedding was so memorable, this was my first same sex wedding and it was a pleasure to document two sets of bridal preps in the morning. The drinks reception was relaxed and I felt at ease as a documentary wedding photographer,  catching tender moments between two sets of families and their friends.

From sunshine to hail stones it was typical weather for April, but of course this did not put a damper on spirits for the day.

The evening entertainment was a delight and may I say quite unique!  Feel free to find out how their evening celebrations ended by pressing play on the photofilm below.

Please feel free to leave a comment and share this post. All the best, Lee

Herons Farm Wedding Photographer

I was delighted when Emma & John chose me to be their Herons Farm wedding Photographer. Herons Farm in Berkshire is the most charmingly English, rustic and characterful wedding venues I have had the pleasure of visiting.

It will be hard to forget the wedding, with the super happy (smiley) bride Emma and her new husband John celebrating in style. They had a street magician performing to guests in the evening (he was actually really good).

With so much happening (including lots of hugging, kissing, awesome speeches, epic dancing and a Pimms thirsty Horse - See video at 2 minutes 57 seconds in) I was truly in my element as a storytelling documentary wedding photographer.

The best way to experience the wedding is simply by pressing play on the video - go full screen in HD and sound up is an absolute must (become engrossed). Feel free to leave a comment of share this post.

Wishing the happy couple all the best for the future, Lee.

Lympne Castle Wedding Photography - Rebecca & Alex

My first blog post of the year and it just so happened to be the very last wedding of 2015.

Just after Christmas day, I traveled to Kent to photograph the really beautiful Lympne Castle wedding of Rebecca & Alex (Such a picturesque wedding venue - Perfect for my style of documentary wedding photography)

I started my day with the groom (Alex) and his groomsmen at the Castle, I  then made my way to meet Rebecca at a nearby hotel. It was great to be able to document both the bride and grooms' preparations. I liked the contrast difference between the ladies having fun dancing with hairdryers and the men having a little Dutch courage - Whisky!

This really was a fantastic way to end the year - I witnessed lots of love and happiness (and sparklers) and I am privileged to have played a small part in their very special day.

Here are some of my favourite moments from their big day. The very best way to experience this wedding is simply by pressing play on the video below :)

Get comfortable & enjoy.
