Froyle Park Wedding Photography
Rebecca & Thomas's wedding at Froyle Park in Hampshire was simply beautiful - I don't use the term very often but when the "beast from the east, 2.0" gave the place a coating of lovely white snow, the venue looked rather magical.
I was very fortunate to have documented Rebecca's sister's wedding back in 2016. It was really lovely to see so many familiar faces again, I knew this wedding was going to be filled with love and emotion (and an awesome party) all of which I thrive on as a documentary wedding photographer.
I started my day fairly early, documenting the exciting build up to what was to be a lovely ceremony - There were happy tears from both sides of the family as the happy couple said "I do" in the Great Hall. Drinks, canapés and hugs took place inside the house which is just as well due to the minor blizzard outside (loved the "pimp your champagne" station).
As I mentioned previously, I knew the party was going to be pretty epic, and it was. I didn't want to leave but I was a little worried I would be snowed in for the night.

The Italian Villa - Documentary Wedding Photography
A Winter Wedding at the Italian Villa in Poole
I was delighted when Samantha & Ben chose me to be their Italian Villa Wedding Photographer - I came recommended by their friends Ashley & Jo, who's wedding I covered a little while ago. As always I am very appreciative of a referral (thumbs up).
The Italian Villa is a very unique wedding venue
I started my day documenting all the excitement and nerves with Samantha, her family & bridesmaid at a nearby hotel before meeting Ben at the villa. After a lovely ceremony, guests congregated in the garden and congratulated the newly married couple while enjoying canapes and drinks. The speeches were heartfelt and humorous, the first dance was lovely and all the little moments in-between was a delight to witness and capture. I really enjoyed playing a part in documenting their day. I hope you enjoy this small selection of my most favourite images.

St Audries Park Wedding Photography
"First Wedding of 2018 - What a start!"
Welcoming in 2018 is the lovely wedding story of Claire & Matthew at the historic and picturesque St. Audries Park in Somerset.
The couple booked me a long while ago and really took to the documentary style of photography. With zero group photos required I was entirely free to go about my day creating a true photographic record of the event.
After an emotional ceremony in the Orangery the newly married couple celebrated with friends and family inside the cosy house as (being February) it was rather bitter & cold outside; gorgeous light flooded through the main windows though!
It's probably best I let the images do the talking, needless to say there is lots to like about this wedding, the unique tea length dress, those glamorous shoes, and lots of little moments that made me smile - Enjoy the first blog post of 2018 - Lots more to come!

Rivervale Barn Wedding Photography
Today I am really happy to share with you the wedding of Kathryn & Ryan at the beautiful Rivervale Barn venue in Hampshire.
I started my day as I usually do by documenting all the fun and happiness at the brides home before heading to the church to meet the groom. The kind hearted vicar who was conducting the ceremony welcomed me so warmly and literally had no restrictions regarding the photography, it was indeed a breath of fresh air (not that I am ever intrusive of course, being a storytelling documentary wedding photographer).
The wedding took place on what felt like one of the windiest days of the year, "Storm Brian" making Kathryn's vale blow uncontrollably. Not phased in the slightest, Kathryn & Ryan hugged and celebrated in style and it was a pleasure to have witnessed & documented their day.
