Wedding Photography Magdalen College - Oxford - Nicky & Nick

A really lovely wedding ceremony & drinks reception at the Magdalen College, Oxford. followed by a celebration at the family home.

I was over the moon when Nicky & Nick chose me to be their Magdalen College wedding photographer. The wedding was really lovely, a gorgeous ceremony in the mighty impressive chapel followed by a summer drinks reception on the lawns. After the newlyweds waved goodbye in their Mercedes sports car, guests were ushered onto Routemaster and transported to the family home just a few miles away. The garden looked amazing, with a marquee perfectly fitting the available space. I really enjoyed documenting the speeches before the newly married couple led the way to the dance floor. Love the confetti cannons :)

Play the 4 minute slideshow above to relive their day.

As always here is a selection of my most favourite moments from their day... Enjoy

Destination Wedding Photographer - Jordyn & Simon

A 10,000 mile round trip to document Jordyn & Simon's gorgeous wedding in Phoenix, AZ.

When Simon and his fiancé Jordyn asked if they could tempt me to spend a few days in the desert sun to document their wedding, of course my answer was a resounding YES!. One year later, I am collecting my bags from the baggage reclaim and driving my air conditioned rental, to meet the lovely couple at Buffalo Chips Saloon bar for the first time, they serve some of the most amazing BBQ food and the rodeo show was a first for me.

Wedding day at the Boojum Tree

The day of the wedding, my storytelling coverage started with the bride and her family, documenting the emotion and love before heading off to the  unique wedding venue Boojum Tree, Phoenix. Here I met Simon and his family before guests started arriving for the gorgeous courtyard ceremony. The service itself was superbly conducted by the couples friend "Minister Marc". Later that evening I really enjoyed the speeches, a lot of which is featured in the photofilm video at the top of the page, it really is worth playing loud and in full screen :)

Documentary Wedding Photographer - Lily & Rich

J'adore ce Mariage - I love this Wedding.

Documentary wedding photographer

Back in July I covered Lily & Rich's wedding; their story was beautiful. This was actually my second visit to Combe Manor Barn which is tucked in the middle of no-where, a real secluded and beautiful venue for sure. The happy couple got married in a church only 10 minutes drive away before celebrating at the barn with all their friends and family. I really enjoyed the drinks reception here as this is often the time where I get my best candid captures.

Notice my French reference at the start of the blog post? well that is because half the wedding party including the bride was indeed French. The vicar conducted the ceremony really nicely using the French language as well as English which is something I've never heard before and gave a lovely personal touch. Lily and Rich chose a meringue smash instead of a cake cutting which was again something I'd not seen before.

Without further ado, Please enjoy this really colourful, fun filled wedding - Press play with the sound up to hear the speeches.

Feel free to leave a comment or share this post. (I really appreciate it)

If you're looking for a photographer who records both sound and photos, I would love to hear from you. Prime dates book fast.

Combe Manor Wedding Photography

The 2nd May 2015 A big day for us British folk as we welcomed a beautiful new princess to the world "Charlotte Elizabeth Diana". However, a celebration of a different kind was on Alexandra & William's mind as they married at the rather spectacular Douai Abbey. The newly weds and ample guests then made their way to the wonderful and rather secluded wedding venue Combe Manor in Hungerford for some serious celebrations.

Guests sipped on Champagne and tucked into some seriously yummy canapes, before the wedding party settled down for the speeches. A 1920's style jazz band played gently in the background, before inviting Alexandra & William over for their first dance. One of my favourite songs "Billy Holiday - The very thought of you".

Guests congregated on the lawns, to watch a spectacular firework display. It was a real pleasure to be a part of their day, I wish the happy couple all the very best for the future.
