Wasing Park Wedding Photography – Photofilm Story
This one’s for your ears as much as your eyes.
There’s something about hearing the real words from the day — the vows, the laughter, the little moments in the speeches — that really lifts the whole experience. It turns a set of photos into something deeper. Something you can feel. Play the film (sound up).
I really loved this one.
A beautiful sunny day at Wasing Park, one of my favourite venues, and two people who clearly adore each other. Harriet and Jack’s wedding had that perfect mix of calm, meaning, and big party energy later on.
For this, I made something a little different — a photofilm. It’s a series of still images set to the real audio from the ceremony and speeches. I work solo, so I photographed the whole day and also captured the sound, then brought it together into a film-like story. It’s a creative way of reliving the day when video wasn’t part of the plan.
What made it special was the emotion in their words. The speeches really brought the whole thing to life. And when I heard them mention their love of drum and bass, I had to end the film with a little nod to that. Just felt right.
If you’re getting married at Wasing Park, or anywhere really, and want something meaningful but relaxed, this kind of film might be a great fit. It’s not a full wedding film, but it still gives you something to hold onto. And I love making them.
Let me know if you’d like to see what’s possible for your day.
